The crappie spawn that goes on in one beginning of June is something magical. Its the only time of year where you can visually see your bait and see the fish eat it. In most cases we will be using a bobber to help indicate the lighter strikes, and keep the bait in the strike zone longer. These fish pull up into patches of shallow pencil weeds and begin their spawn around the low 60 degree mark.
